Fresh Produce for New Mexico Seniors
The Seniors Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) offers up to $50 to senior adults (over age 60), who live in New Mexico, to buy locally grown fruits, vegetables, cut herbs, and honey from select farmers’ markets, mobile farmers’ markets, and roadside stands across the state.
The Seniors Farmers’ Market season is between July 1 and November 15.
Seniors who are already receiving Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) benefits are automatically eligible for the Seniors Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program benefits! The CSFP provider will notify participants when SFMNP checks are available.
Seniors who are not receiving CSFP benefits, and who would like to participate in this program must complete an application and return it to the Seniors Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program
office in Santa Fe.
Senior benefits are distributed on a first-come first-served basis.
