New Mexico WIC Participates in the Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program

The Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) offers New Mexico (NM) WIC eligible individuals $30 per year in extra spendable benefits to buy locally grown fruits, vegetables, and cut herbs from authorized farmers’ markets, mobile farmers’ markets, and roadside stands across the state.

The Farmers’ Market season for New Mexico WIC is between July 1 and November 29.

The NM WIC Program offers Farmers’ Market benefits in select clinics across the state, and benefits are distributed on a first-come first-served basis. To find out which clinics participate in this program, please contact a local WIC Clinic, or call 505-469-0548.
