New WIC cards are here! Continue using your current WIC card with the chip until May 31st, 2026. Keep your new WIC card in a safe location until June 1st, 2026. Remember to set your PIN before your first shopping trip in June.

How will I get a new WIC card?

You will get your new card at your regularly scheduled WIC appointment starting April 1st, 2026. If you do not have an appointment scheduled, contact your WIC clinic. 

When Can I Use my new WIC Card?

You will use your new WIC card starting June 1st, 2026. Keep your new card in a safe place until it is time to use it. Please continue using your current WIC card with the chip through May 31st, 2026.

How do I Set my PIN?

You can set your PIN by:

  • Calling the New Mexico WIC Card Management Line: 1-833-998-4691

  • Using your myWIC app: 

    • Tap the 3 lines for the menu

    • Find the card that starts with 2777

    • Tap the edit button and select ‘Manage PIN’

  • Using ebtEDGE: you can create an account or link your account if you have SNAP. https//www.ebtedge.com 

  • Note: You must set your PIN before you go shopping.

What Do I Do With My Current WIC Card?

Continue using your current WIC card with the chip through May 31st, 2026. Remember to bring your current chip card to your WIC appointments.

What If I Forgot My PIN or Want to Change the pin for my new Card?

If you forgot your PIN or want to change your PIN, you can update it using myWIC, or by calling the NM WIC Card Management Line: 1-833-998-4691 or by using ebtEdge. Follow the same steps you used to set your PIN.

How Do I Request a Replacement Card, if my new card was lost, damaged, or stolen??

There are four ways to request a replacement card. If you need a card quickly or if it is close to the end of the month, please contact your local WIC office. It can take 7-10 business days to receive a card by mail.

  • On myWIC, go to Card Management under Account. Find the card that starts with 2777 and tap the edit button. Select Replace Card. myWIC will then provide options to replace your new card through the mail or at your local WIC office.

  • Call 1-833-998-4691 and follow the instructions to get a replacement card through the mail.

  • Using ebtEdge. You can request a card replacemment through thier portal. 

  • Contact your WIC office. 

I requested a replacement card by mail but I have not received it yet. What do i Do?

If you have not received your replacement card by mail after 10 business days, contact your local WIC office for assistance.

What if i have questions or issues with my new card?

Get help with your New Mexico wic card by:

  • Using the myWIC app. You can set or change your PIN, check your current and future month benefits, get help with shopping, cancel your card and request a replacement, and mangage your appointments.

  • Call the New Mexico WIC Card Management Line 1-833-998-4691. You can set or change your PIN, check your current month’s benefits, and cancel your card and request a replacement.

  • Using ebtEdge. You can set or change your PIN, and check your current and future month benefits.

  • Contacting your local WIC office. If you have additional questions about your card or if you need to make changes to your benefits.

Do I link my new card or current wic card with the chip when registering with mywic?

When registering for myWIC, the app will ask you to enter a card number. You can enter the card number from your current WIC card with the chip or your new card. Either option will work to link your card and register for myWIC. After June 1st, only new WIC cards can be used to register for myWIC.
